Jimmy Hendricks was born to singer-song writing parents Jim and Ginger Hendricks in Van Nuys, California November 1978. Jimmy was introduced to music at an early age and started playing the drums and singing with the family band at age nine. His interest in music grew through his high school years, playing the trumpet in the high school band, but his greatest love was playing the electric bass. Shortly after graduation from high school, he auditioned for a band called âReality Checkâ and went on the road playing bass for his first professional gig. When âReality Checkâ broke up, Jimmy played for a number of groups including, âLuna Haloâ, âLila McCannâ, and âZoe Girlâ. The last few years he has been sharpening his song writing skills as well as playing guitar and singing solo. His first release was a Christmas CD he did with his Dad in 2006 called âThe Peace of Christmasâ. His second release is âNew Beginningâ summer of 2007 with a third straight ahead rock album to be released late 2007 all on the âMaple Street Musicâ label.
