I wrote all the songs on the album and I sang the first one "Velcro Girl." Mindy Wade a very talented singer with an outstanding voice sang the next four songs: "This New Year's Night" (in a dream), "High Flyin' Feelin'," "Under the Sun," and "If You Don't Marry Me.â She incidentally has her own Christmas album on cdbaby check it out. The next three songs were sung by Tim Frantz, who also provided the instrumentation and engineering of the album. His music studio, Mountain Dog Music, is located in Oak View, CA. And the last song "We Need a Good Plan" was sung by Christi Griffith, a very talented piano teacher, who now resides some where in the state of Florida, the last I heard. I would like to give you a little added information about some of the songs. "If You Don't Marry Me" was my interpretation of a backwoods country song about a shotgun wedding. In the song "Under the Sun," the first verse deals with life, the second with love, but the third verse, which is not heard in the short sound snippet, deals with death. Just so there are no unexpected surprises for you, now you know. The only other song that might need some explanation is the song "I'm Just a Dog." The song lyrics were inspired by "Silvia" a college play in which I preformed, and if you've never seen it before I strongly recommend it, especially if you like dogs. Other than that, I hope you enjoy listening to all of my songs as well as I enjoyed writing them. I appreciate your business and thank you much Jack.
