Jim was born in the small town of Mahopac, NY and knew from early age that entertaining and songwriting were his heartâs passion. Throughout his teens, he began honing his craft in talent shows, plays and local performances until moving to NYC. Here, he found his creative home, immersing himself in dance classes, voice lessons and college courses, studying at Juilliard, Fordham U and Alvin Ailey. Eventually, Jim would land appearances on MTV,VH1 and national commercials, including a V8 spot with Savion Glover.

But his true passion for writing, singing and creating his own stage show was never far from his mind and eventually, in 2004, Jim started playing clubs in NYC, with nothing more than a keyboardist to accompany him, his original, self-written tunes and his own hip-hop/funk choreography. As he played more and more, Jim found his niche as a performer and would eventually come to create the stage show he always dreamed of, hiring a backup band for some gigs and employing backup dancers to help execute his choreography. He also expanded his venues to not only rock clubs, but middle schools, colleges, festivals, camps and TV appearances, reaching every demographic he could with his catchy, pulsating songs and infectious stage energy and presence.

Jim continues to tour around the country, selling his music on itunes, creating new music and stage shows and gaining legions of fans along the way. He hopes to take his career to the highest level, as an international recording artist, touring the world and touching people with his music and vocal phrasing.

âMost of all, I want people to know that theyâre not alone. Throughout my life, music has been the true constant that I could turn to, whether as a songwriter or a listener. I want to reach out to people with my music- my art- and inspire them to persevere, to look for a better day and know, whatever they may be feeling at the moment, I and many other people have probably felt the same way. Iâm here to make people happy and share my thoughts and love of creating music with them.â
