Chris Columby (born Christopher Columbus Pawlowski) First
Band was Steel Head Band 1968. Openned for Jethro Tull,
Deep Purple, Iron Butterfly, Blues Magoos, the Flock ,Lemon Pipers and many others. Recorded at Chess Records In Chicago.
Member of Gandalf in 1971 , openned for Quicksilver, New Riders of the Purple Sage , Ike and Tina Turner, Howlin' Wolf,and many others.
Played in dozzens of local bands in L.A. area In 1984 Built and operated Starworks Recording Studio
in Los Angeles. Recorded many artists including Sly Stone
Gerald Albright, Johnny Graham of Earth Wind & Fire, Hunt Sales, Jan Berry, James McNichols. Kenny St. Louis and many others.
Played with Bill Haley's Comets.
Recorded Kenny Presley, Reese Wyans of SRV, Jeff 'Stick' Davis of Amazing Rhythm Aces , Mel Shaw , and Rock Doctors
in Nashville in mid to late 90's.
Now resides back in Los Angeles.
