I started playing the guitar at the age of 15. During four years I visited the Zoltan Kodaly Academy, where I studied classical guitar. In 1974 I founded the symphonic popgroup POLTERGEIST (with three other musicians). The group split up in 1981.

Later on I worked with several musicians on different projects. I learned to play the marimba, the vibrafone, the flute and I really enjoy playing all kinds of percussion-instruments (tabla, conga, bongo, likembe, etc.). Some of my projects are rather experimental. In any case, I don't want to stick to one genre. Often my music is a mix of jazz, pop, rock and classical. When I'm writing music I often 'think' in images. That's why people consider my compositions very suitable as soundtracks.
