Biographical Sketch

As a child Lanny received formal piano and organ training in church and classical music. In church he was often playing for the choir and the men's chorus, as well as performing solos, singing and accompanying himself on piano. At the age of eleven he performed "The Norwegian Concerto" for a school assembly. During high school he formed a rock band and played school dances, parties, concerts and club dates.

At the age of nineteen, Lanny accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior and began singing and playing with a contemporary Christian band. The band traveled Virginia and the Carolinas, performing in churches, Christian coffeehouses, and various other concerts. They were featured on a CBN television special, performed live on a 700 Club telethon and filmed a television special with Art Linkletter and Nicky Cruz in the coliseum at NC State University before an audience of six thousand people.

In the spring of 2000 at a Full Gospel Business Menâs Advance at Fort Caswell, NC, God spoke to Lanny and said, âI am now anointing you to lead praise and worship.â Since that time he has led praise and worship at Full Gospel Business Menâs meetings and functions. He has served as praise and worship leader in church settings and with various ministries. As a teacher, prophet, psalmist and praise and worship leader, Lanny is frequently invited to minister at churches, conferences, etc. His ministry is most effective when he conducts the entire service. He has traveled extensively throughout the southeastern United States, as well as other areas of the country and in other nations.

Ministry

Acts 3:19 speaks of âTimes of refreshing that come from the presence of the Lord.â Perhaps this is the best description of a service where Lanny is ministering.

Lannyâs anointing as a praise and worship leader takes congregations into the presence of God
where signs, wonders, miracles and the gifts of the Holy Spirit manifest. People leave not only refreshed but also encouraged, strengthened and better equipped for success in life and ministry.

As a revivalist, Lanny is a prophetic voice to this generation, declaring the greatest move of God that the United States and the world has ever known. Jesus is building his glorious Church, without spot, wrinkle or any such thing, holy and without blemish (Ephesians 5:27). He is building it on the foundation of apostles and prophets (Ephesians 2:20). He is establishing the five fold ministry to establish, equip and perfect saints for the work of the ministry and the building up of the Body of Christ until we all come into the unity of the faith and the fullness of the Anointed One, Jesus (Ephesians 4:11-13).

As a teacher, Lanny passes on his passion for the revealed, uncompromised Word of God. His desire is to see believers grow to maturity, bringing the Kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven.
