Looseleafâs âLast match and some gasolineâ is the final CD from the Pittsburgh based band. Composed of ten new original tracks âLast matchâ finds the band narrowing in on more of a collective sound than past projects. âWe really felt that we finally found our sound on this CD, it still mixes a lot of the styles that we love, but with more of a focused sound.â-tiM (vocals/guitar)

Looseleaf went back to producer Tripper(Buzz Poets) who recorded the bands last 2 CDâs. âWe feel real comfortable with Trip so it seemed natural for him to work with us on this one. He was able to come into the project with a fresh perspective, and we always need his work ethic in the studio.â Looseleaf has been playing the area for the past 7 years and is composed of four childhood friends. Tim Mulhern (guitar/vocals), Mike Peterson (guitar/vocals), Nick Anthony (bass), and Scott Decker (drums). âLife just changes, things happen and people go their separate ways. Weâve all been friends forever and weâve always figured that the ride would end someday, but itâs definitely been a blast over the years.â

The final CD shows the band going out on top with a mix of rock, reggae, folk, and latin interlaced with clever lyrics and smooth harmonies. âWeâre excited about the new CD and itâs a great way to end things on a high note, itâs something that we are all proud of.â âtiM
