Luv Jonez, a native of Toledo Ohio, born Clifford Cargile II . Started rapping in 1985 appeals to audiences with a HIP-HOP flavor. Wrote his first rap along with a friend beat boxing in the background. He recorded his first demo song, using a boom box. Once the recording was finished, he listened to it, and love what he heard. He loved it so much, he kept writing and became better and better.
The first time Luv JoneZ recorded in a studio was in 1991, along with five other local rap artists. After recording a polish demo for the first time, he knew this was something he wanted to do. Luv JoneZ remember recording his first verse in the recording studio, people in the studio were saying he sounded like âSnoop,â which boosted his confidence.
It wasnât until 1998 when Luv JoneZ returned back to the studio to start recording again. Because he taken some time out, to discover his own raw talent. He recorded numerous of underground freestyle tracks. Which lead him to almost signed to local recording company in Toledo Ohio. In 1999 he was a member of a group name âDope House Clickâ, recorded tracks up until 2001. Things came to an end due to a death of a group member and one other incarcerated.
âStreet Starzâ became in existing after the group fell apart. Luv JoneZ later hooked up with a locate rap artist on his day job. They started performances in numerous local clubs such as 128 b, hardhat Café, X-Scape, Longhorn Saloon-Shooters, and Jax, Las Palmas, Lucas County Recreation Center. Out of town performances: Easy Street Café in B.G Ohio, Club 313 in Detroit, MI, JRâs Bar and Grill in N. Baltimore Ohio. In November of 2002 Luv JoneZ contacted an old friend by the of name of J.Love, and âstatedââ Iâm ready to take things to the next level. J.Love who is a local producer in Nashville, TN who give Luv JoneZ a word of encouragement when he first realize he want to be a rap artist, when they first met through a family member. Luv JoneZ & J.Love are now musical partners.
Luv JoneZ realizes that longevity is essential for success in todayâs music industry. Thus, plans for the uncertain future by writing new lyrics and polishing his talents and skills on a daily basis. After signing to major, reputable record label, Luv JoneZ hopes to become a successful artist, always able to satisfy the R& BHIP-HOP audienceâs demand.
