A gifted and honored songwriter, his songs have been included on compilations published by MyTexasMusic.com, Texas Music Magazine, and the Houston Association of Acoustic Musicians (HAAM). His literary works have been published in numerous journals, and have been used in both K-12 and college classrooms across the U.S. and around the world. Not exactly what one would expect from a former high school dropout!

In his compelling presentations, Clark chronicles his amazing life journey from his troubled teens to his current successful and fulfilling life as an acclaimed author, performer, and educator. Moving swiftly from a humorous anecdote to a serious poem to a wacky song to a philosophical point, Clark maintains the audience's attention to get his message across: life is about choices, and it's never too late to make the right choice.

The Ballad of Dinkle and Other Kid's Favorites, Clark's latest book, is his first volume specifically geared toward elementary age children. It includes some of the younger set's favorite songs, poems, and stories, including "The Ballad of Dinkle" (the turtle that liked to tinkle), "The Blue Tongued Skink Song," "My Graduation Present," and many others.
