Details:
I have no real great story or anything like that, and I'm not gonna fluff up my life or pay someone to embellish things to make you more interested in my music either.

In all truth, I'm a hard working, no frills musician who is always striving to make the best stuff I can. Itâs on my mind 24 hours a day, and that has never changed. As for my bio, I am proud of who I am and how I got here, and we gotta write them anywayâ¦so here ya goâ¦

Originally Iâm from Lansdale, PA. It's a small hardworking suburb about 15 miles Northeast of Philadelphia. I grew up in a tightly knit humongous middle class Polish-American family with 4 brothers and 30+ first freakin cousinsâ¦.uhhhh yeaâ¦.did I mention Catholic?â¦Anyway, somehow through all the insanity, homework, mayhem, scuffles, mental abuse and fights over the last popsicle, my older brothers got me into some serious rock and roll at a very early age.

It started with the Grateful Dead and The Who in Kindergarten and progressed to Led Zeppelin by 7th Grade. I Started taking piano lessons in 4th grade and wasnât interested in it too much at the time, I would have rather been playing hockey with my friends after schoolâ¦..Lets just say my friends could never pronounce the word âpianistâ correctly.

âGuess we canât play...Mikeâs got Pianist Practiceâ for example. Needless to say I hated piano by the 8th Grade.

By then it was Nirvana, and the grunge scene. I picked up my brothers guitar and he started showing me how to play some chords and some simple rhythms, well that was that. I couldnât get enough of it, and my cousin John had also started playing like crazy. He got me into the blues, folk, Dylan, Cream, and all of that great old stuff recorded on wax.

Practice practice practice practice, bands bands bands, practice practice practice.

I then attended Kutztown University for graphic arts and web design, and really started to focus on my music. I began recording around sophomore year and felt that it was my only option to stay sane and keep myself out of a cubicle. After I graduated from Kutztown, I moved to Nashville, TN and attended SAE (School of Audio Engineering) and learned how recording really worked and all the little tricks of the trade. I spent some time around town working in studios, playing bars, and doing live sound. Itâs a good city and I learned a lot down there. Thankfully the music scene breaks your ego in half on the first day, so ya gotta work hard. John Sebastian wasnât kidding.

I then moved to New York City, lived in Nolita for a little and did the Village thing, playing around and living it up. It was a cool experience and I met some good people got to play at some great places.

Alas though, I needed some rest and missed home, So itâs back to the Dale for now. Thatâs been where I painfully write, play, produce, record, design, and advertise every inch of my music. I am always trying my best so that you the listener will enjoy it, maybe get something out of it, and hopefully it will be worth your time to listen.
Thanks again. Mike
