Official Version is described as being the official version of the "sound of electrosity".
Electrosity is essentially a displaced genre of music as created by the vision of founding member Jason Allen.
Official Version had no choice but to make music in a not so average fashion.
This fashion being a more somber, electronic foundation with pieces of clean guitar segments accompanied by downtoned male & female vocals.
The influences on Official Version were not so average either, including such progressive and groundbreaking electronic acts as Depeche Mode, Recoil, New Order, Kraftwerk, and various pop industrial sources.

What makes the sound unique is that the writing of the songs is mostly done backwards with the lyrics & vocal tunes being the last things written.
