Once-ler was formed in Dayton, Ohio during the fall of 1999 by four individuals who are bent on the creation of music for its own ends. The band has played extensively in the mid-west and is always searching for new venues in which to perform. Once-ler has developed a strong local following of old and new fans alike. The release of their new self produced full length album Entropy is sure to win them many more. This album and their previous offering Windows for the Blind were recorded at the former âOnce-ler mansionâ on a tiny budget, but the band is more than happy with the results considering.
All the responsibilities associated with being a working band are tended to solely by the band members at this point. Once-ler is currently examining new options of promotion and distribution because the most important goal of Once-ler is to have their music listened to by as many people as possible. Create what combination of vague genre descriptions you may, but Once-ler is a band that needs to be heard.
