After years of playing the live scene around Australia and constantly doing studio work, smooth jazz-fusion guitarist Paul Koury has finally released his first solo album Serendipity. This album features 9 of Paulâs original tracks beautifully written and arranged to provide non-stop listening pleasure. You will be treated to a over 50 mins of tasteful melodic guitar playing with Paulâs unique brand of soloing that communicates with audiences at all levels. Paulâs perfect blend of melodic phrases, timely outside intervals with a raw blues undercurrent gives him a sound that is both uniquely his and extremely appealing. Paul studied music in Hollywood Los Angeles with some of the greatest guitar players of our time including Larry Carlton, Scott Henderson and Frank Gambale just to name a few. After graduating from the GIT in 1990, Paul has been in constant demand playing on many albums including House-to-House, Resource and Jazz Harmonic. Paul has also offered his brand of tasty melodic guitar playing to support the likes of Darlene Zschech, Marina Prior and Roma Waterman.
