Priscilla was born in New York State into a musical family, so singing and playing piano and other instruments came natural for her. She earned a B.A. in Music Education from U.C.L.A. Cum Laude, while teaching private students.
Priscilla began teaching her own children when they were very young. In fact, she started her own Music School specializing in teaching 3-7 year olds with her own unique course which taught them to sing, read notes, play the piano, and understand orchestral sounds within all kinds of music. Parents exclaimed how their children began to excel in all their school work as a result of this early training. Next she formed and trained a professional Youth Singing Troupe the âLaMarca American Variety Singersâ that toured and performed for famous celebrities, politicians, Disneyland, World Expo, with the Joffrey Ballet, and the Los Angeles Symphony Orchestra. Soon they were asked to sing for commercials, and as the kidâs voices on Greg & Steveâs Children Albums. (See her CD called "Basic Vocal Exercises".)
Meanwhile, Priscilla was writing songs, stories, musical plays, and arrangements for her students to perform. With the advent of M.I.D.I. she could do it all âTeach, Write, Arrange, Produce, and Perform.
Now that Priscillaâs family is on their own, she has put out the first CD of many more to come of songs and stories she has written and taught through the years. She hopes they will bring the same enjoyment and success to other children as they have to her students.
