Some describe, "While the Virgin Mary was giving birth to Jesus, God was free basing with three hookers to this.", while others prefer, "F*@#IN' CRUNCHY DANCE MUSIC.", and whatever you decide it sounds like, it'll probably suck.

During my middle-school orientation, I saw the school bands play a few tunes... I instantly was attached to percussion instruments, (whether or not it has to do with bashing stuff with sticks is beyond me) and wanted to play them myself. I joined the band that year, and followed up through the next three years, along with private lessons, where I started learning how to play on a drum set. At the end of 8th grade, my final year in middle-school, I was growing weary of simply playing the timpani, because I, for lack of a better term, sucked at all the other instruments. If only there was a school band that would let you play drum set, and not be led by the iron fist of middle-school bands so that the fascist teacher can win awards. I'm just not that kind of person! I do, though, continue to play drum set, and I'm in an actual band! The Sharkicorns!
...And so it all started 2 years ago, when I was 14. Working with primitive midi programs, and playing on my father's keyboard. This was totally enlightening! I think this may have been the first time where I have expressed myself musically, but at the same time, I always looked for more.
So I decided to search for a better program. I was a big fan of OCremix at that time, and I knew that there had to be ways to get that kind of sound through the computer. I found FL Studio, and fell in love with it's simplicity, and yet, it has so much hidden potential.
I used to work with a girl named Felix Red, and we collaborated for a while, (making the project "Felix and Quait"), and were great friends, despite the fact that she lived in Michigan and I live in Nevada. We wanted so desperately to get some air-time on the radio. We continued to make great music, and I continued to get better. By 2006, we have made around a dozen great songs, some of which can still be found at her Myspace. I knew that if we continued at the rate we were going, many great things would be accomplished.
It all fell apart, sadly, when school, (organized mass babysitting) started again. We stopped talking like we used to, and to the point where we stopped completely. At this time, I was getting my feet wet for working on songs myself. I decided that'd be the only way to go about things anymore, to music out there. And thus I started the solo project of "Quait". I was constantly finding out new sounds I could create with varied samples, and of course, distortion (my favorite). My songs came out much darker, grittier, more raw. Felix Red must've been the happy to my constantly depressed state of mind, so I suppose that could be a reason why we made such good music!
After two years of making music on my own, I decided I should start trying to do something other than posting them on Myspace and getting a comment about how cool it sounds from my friends... So, ta-da! "Time Doesn't Hold" was born. Essentially it's a compilation album of the progress I've made as a person and as a musical artist over the past few years. Coming soon, (once I can get a website and some hosting... essentially, money) a new EP is coming out called "Fleshsack". It will be completely free to download, and so will some of my other, smaller albums/EPs. It's also a conceptual album about how material people really are, and that no one is immortal. I'm a very conceptual person, and therefore, I have many concept ideas for albums... I'm excited to see what I have in store for myself! :D
Love goes out to my wonderful supporting parents and family, Jacob, Delanie, and my other truly great friends, Felix Red (still wanna make more stuff?), and everyone who listens to my music.
