Given his first guitar at age 13, Rocho began his musical journey wasting no time, writing his first piece within weeks. Still using the same guitar today, he has continued to write over the years developing both his guitar playing as well as his writing skills. A resident of L.A. for the past 15 years having moved from Pensacola Florida, Rocho fit right in. Although he has played with many local musicians, both street and studio, Rocho has always been focused on his own musical compositions and aspirations.

Playing solo in and around L.A. Rocho premiered his work in coffee houses to get reaction from strangers. It wasnât long after that he was asked to headline as a solo artist at venues like Coconut Teasers and The Crooked Bar to name a few. Influenced at a young age by both British and American Mega Bands, Rocho soon discovered groups like Foo Fighters, Better Than Ezra, The Tragically Hip, and Counting Crows, and this is when Rochoâs song writing abilities took on a life of their own. Weaving catchy melodies into beat driven Rock & Roll rhythms, or just keeping the music as simple as a single guitar or piano, his lyrical style and content is what makes his songs move people. Writing clever lyrics with strong hooks is the goal of any song writer, but when you write about your own gut wrenching experiences and deliver those lyrics with just the right amount of conviction, then you have really accomplished what itâs all about. Rochoâs style can only be described as Honest and Energetic Rock & Roll which truly shows itself no matter what tempo the songs are delivered in.
