Details:
'T50 +1 part one' was created and recorded in the foothills of the Prescelli mountains, south west Wales one early autumn day in 2005.
The Surf Messengers are:
Annie Q. - plays mainly flute,sax,clarinet and creates
wistfully twisted lyrics.
Glenda Pescado - when not playing bass, loves to generate
and manipulate noise in all manner of ways.
Nick Danger - drums and dictaphone (and unlikely sound
sources juxtaposed for your delight)
Will Whitney - impacts (guitars/keyboards/gearbox housings/
the whole enchilada)
We've been playing together as this combo for over 10 years now and have an understanding that allows us to improvise creatively in many different set-ups: sometimes as a straight beat combo; sometimes as a experimental cell; but, more often than not, as a combination of these.
All the music is created without prior discussion.
We have a deep love of the lo-tech, a high pain threshold and an absolute inability to take
