jacob thomas is a singer/songwriter in it's purest form. with songs ranging in style from rock to folk, it's easy to see that the music is only the medium through which a much deeper message is communicated. at 19 years old jacob thomas accepted a music scholarship from indiana welseyian university, only to leave after one year to persue music in a different avenue. jacob thomas moved to nashville, tn. where he lived for 18 months while consistantly touring and playing with artists such as the fashion, krista black, newsboys, matt kearney, jeremy camp... ect. in the summer of 2004 jacob thomas returned to his home in lafayette, louisiana and began to write. from that period of writing came the 2007 release "black, white, and red vol. 2 e.p.", which was produced by matt wilder (the swift) mixed by jason burkam and mastered by doug van sloan (bright eyes/saddle creek records). jacob thomas is currently playing and working on the follow-up full length album to "black, white, & red vol. 2 e.p.". currently at 23 years of age, the future has never looked brighter for jacob thomas.
