Tom Wilson has performed in northwest regional venues for over forty years. Tom is an accomplished songwriter, musician and published author. His latest published work, âCourage to Follow the Visionâ was released nationally. Tom has co-written numerous songs with Emmy Award winning composer and producer Jeff Tassin. He has over one hundred and twenty original songs and nine albums to his credit.

I have several CDs of newer material in the works. I am very excited about have the opportunity through CD BABY to share my personal thoughts and perspectives via the medium of music.

I'm not sure where the incredible high comes from when others appreciate our art, whether it be paintings, sculptures, architecture, science, assistant manager at burger king...it's all the same nickel. Every human being has a gift... I know this for a fact. There are as many different types of gifted people as there are people.

The key to expounding on our gifts or for that matter, finding success in any portion of our lives always comes down to one word for me...calluses. You have to do the work until you get callusesâ¦the paying of your dues. Can you imagine the possibilities were we all to hone that magic piece within us all?

Iâm a songwriter. I write what comes into my head. The source of that input is rightfully up for discussion. I swear that at times inspiration resembles quite closely being âfedâ. I do not write in a specific genreâ because I feel it would limit me from experiencing the amazing ability of humans to create an unlimited variety of substance from nothing.

I fancy myself a lyricist with a knack for the melodic and, as obvious from my ballads, a man with a serious weak spot for romance and the female gender. May the right people enjoy my music so that I may enjoy their enjoyment...it's all reciprocal then, isn't it? More to come, Peace.
