TREVOR REID is an accomplished musician, composer and singer.
He is also the proprietor and engineer of KING WALLEY Recording Studio.

A native of Jamaica, Trevor Reid grew up listening to the likes of John Holt and The Paragons, Sugar Minott, Alton Ellis, Hopton Lewis, Bob Marley and the Wailers, Mikey Dread on JBC, RING DING with Miss Lou, just to name a few. At age 8 he invented his own guitar and would entertain his friends and family members.

By age 11 he was a constant at the King Tubby Recording Studio.
With self-determination he formed his first band, The Three Blind Mice, followed by The Impossibles and finally The Water House Band. He also played in the band on the RING DING show with Miss Lou.

By 1980, Reid moved to Montreal Canada, where he still resides.
He continued his musical career by playing rhythum guitar and lead vocal for various local bands and backed well known artists from Jamaica, such as; Ken Boothe, Alton Ellis, Sugar Minott, Hopton Lewis, Wayne Wonder, Maytone, Buju Banton, Cutty Rankin, Carol Brown, Terry Linen, Denis Brown, Leroy Gibbons and Rudy Mills etc... He also opened for Leroy Sibbles, Super Cat, Lady Saw, Yellow Man, Gregory Issac, The Wailers and Ambalique out of the UK, etc... He has also collaborated with his friend Lynn Tait on several projects.

Reid decided to do an album entitled; THE BEST OF TREVOR REID show-casing songs that he had previously recorded. He gets his insprirations from personal experiences as well as whats happening in the world. He puts his own feelings into each song which bares a message that everyone can identified with such as:

Track 1 GIVE ME YOUR LOVE, is a love song where the man is
pleading for his woman to give him a second chance.

Track 2 WHAT MORE YOU WANT, he has given so much material things as well as his love but his woman still wants more.

Track 3 LIVE GOOD, is a warning to us all to remember September 11,2001.

Track 4 WISE UP, is a positive message geered towards our troubled youths.

Track 5 FIGHT IT, in this world we have to be strong.

Track 6 SLAM BAM, is a more fun-type, play on words "love in action" song.

Track 7 PRISONER, slightly political message for our brothers who are wrongfully "locked-up".

Track 8 CHRISTINE, just another love song.

Track 9 SINGERS, this one goes out to artists who fail to be role models for our youths.

Track 10 I'VE GOT THIS FEELING, "feeling" of love.

Track 11 ONLY YOU, one of Reid's first love songs.

Track 12 ALIGATOR DANCE, another fun-type song based on one of Reid's favorite reptile.

Tracks 13-15, are all "dubs" which are heavy on drum and bass instrumentals.

All the songs were written, sung and produced by Trevor Reid. He also did the back ground vocals as well as instruments. Reid did all the arrangement, mixing and engineering himself at his King Walley Recording Studio.
