Born in San Benito, Tx Troy began music at a very young age . Mostly self-taught, he did get help and inspiration from his brother Cody through the guitar. He wrote his first song at age 9 called Never Think Twice About It and has not looked back since. Although his first cd is a hard rock salute to 3 superheroes, being a Christian Troy recorded his second cd with a positive Christian theme. His talent has not gone unnoticed. In the summer of 2005 he attended the Kerville Folk Festival Song Writers workshop to hone his songwriting skills. Rick Beresford, internationally acclaimed songwriter from Nashville, said Troy "... has the charisma to be a professional musician". Taking that to heart, Troy is now expanding his music but incorporating different styles into his newest cd Lucky 88. It has been dedicated by Troy to his grandmother. And at age 15 he is just breaking through with his music.
