Walter Rinaldi began studying piano at 7 years old. At 15 he commenced the study of classical guitar and graduated from the Conservatorio San Pietro a Maiella, in Naples, Italy. As a young man he was very moved by British Progressive rock and by classical music and started composing instrumental music for keyboards, piano, bass, and electric, classical, and acoustic guitars. In 1995 he recorded: âI Percorsi dellâAcquaâ, a CD of instrumental pieces for guitar, synthesizers, and piano, composed and executed by him. The CD has often been broadcasted on RAI, the national Italian radio. He studied piano with Maestro Antonio Di Palma and then composition in Rome under the tutelage of Maestro Luciano Pelosi. His musical productions include music for String Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra, and compositions for solo and various instruments. Relevant are his âQuartetsâ (n. 1 and n.2 for strings) performed by important quartets, among which is the âSpring Quartetâ. He wrote the soundtracks for animation films presented to the Positanoâs Festival âCartoon on the Bayâ and for animation projects of the âDun Laoghaire Institute of Art Design and Technologyâ in Dublin, Ireland. His compositions evoke moving images, deeply connected with the world of nature and the spiritual dimension.

The incessant soul searching is reflected in these âFour Portraits for String Orchestraâ, presented in his last discographic work: Pachelbel-Rinaldi-Vivaldi. The music is directed by Nicola Samale, played by âLâ Anello Musicaleâ and recorded in Rome, during the month of April 2007, in the Lead Studios.

Walter Rinaldi inizia lo studio del pianoforte allâetà di 7 anni. La sua curiosità creativa lo porta sin da giovanissimo ad esplorare diversi percorsi musicali. A 15 anni intraprende lo studio della chitarra classica e si diploma presso il Conservatorio San Pietro a Maiella di Napoli. In giovane età si appassiona profondamente al Progressive Inglese degli anni â70 e alla musica classica e compone musica strumentale per chitarra, tastiere, pianoforte, basso e batteria, che registra usando registratori multitraccia, e suonando tutti gli strumenti. Nel 1995 è stato pubblicato: âI Percorsi DellâAcquaâ, un compact disc di brani strumentali per chitarre, sintetizzatori,pianoforte e batteria interamente composti ed eseguiti dallâautore. Il cd è stato più volte trasmesso da Radio RAI e da altre emittenti radiofoniche e televisive. Ha studiato pianoforte con il M° Antonio Di Palma, allievo del M° Aldo Piccolini. Ha proseguito il suo iter musicale a Roma con lo studio della composizione con il M° Luciano Pelosi. La sua produzione musicale comprende musica per Orchestra dâArchi, Orchestra Sinfonica, per strumenti soli e composizioni per vari organici di strumenti. Rilevante la sua produzione quartettistica (Quartetto n° 1 e n° 2 per archi) eseguita da diversi quartetti affermati, tra cui lo âSpring Quartetâ. Ha scritto musiche per cartoni animati presentati al Festival âCartoon on the bayâ di Positano e per vari progetti del âDun Laoghaire Institute of Art Design and Technologyâ a Dublino in Irlanda. Le sue composizioni evocano immagini suggestive, profondamente connesse con il mondo della natura e le dimensioni dello spirito. Lâincessante ricerca interiore si riflette nei suoi âQuattro ritratti per Orchestra dâ Archiâ presenti nel suo ultimo lavoro discografico: Pachelbel-Rinaldi-Vivaldi. Le musiche sono dirette dal M° Nicola Samale, eseguite dallâ Orchestra âLâAnello Musicaleâ di Roma e registrate nel mese di Aprile 2007 presso gli studi Lead Records.
