Description: INTERMEDIATE / ADVANCED INTERMEDIATE. A QuickTime video tutorial focusing on Peggy Lee's "Fever," an 8-bar minor blues, adapted for diatonic harmonica by Adam Gussow. Gussow works through two 8-bar versions: a vamp, appropriate as an intro or for playing behind a singer; and an original solo based on the vocal melody. Technical challenges include 2, 3, and 4 draw bends and syncopated timing. Since "Fever" is in a minor key, keeping the 3 draw slightly flattened at all times is a particularly important focus of this lesson.
Harp key: C. (The song is in G minor) Note: a PDF tab of this lesson is also available for $2. Running time: 16:18 Another Modern Blues Harmonica production (www.modernbluesharmonica.com) User tags: blues harp, fever, blues harmonica, adam gussow Votes: Reviews: More Files Of This User
