Composer and synthesist Aron Kirk continues to shape and refine his beautiful,thought provoking music.

The Music on Brick Circus tells the story of a situation that opens with an almost fairytale like beginning,but quickly weaves into a tapestry of bitterness,deceit,and jealousy,then finally giving way to an unresolved ending.

"It was a kind of chapter in my life" says Kirk "an opportunity presented itself,which then somehow gave way to disappointment and ill feeling which I hopelessly tried to fight to the end"

His enigmatic pieces of instrumental music are a serene blend of piano,synthesizers,woodwinds, percussion,minimal vocals,loops and home recorded samples.When composing and recording,Kirk spends many weeks,sometimes months slowly building the structure and arrangement of each of his compositions,which are all based on life's pleasant,and sometimes not so pleasant scenarios.

"They say music soothes the soul, but I sometimes wanted to create music that leaves the soul unsure and uneasy. I feel that music should try and mimic the tones of life,and life can bring in many different emotions. I think a piece of music can sometimes become more convincing' if it includes 'all' the feelings that life brings to us, no matter how disappointing or unpleasant they may be".Aron Kirk constantly works on new material combining elegance,humour,and sadness into his compositions.

"I love creating music about the sometimes futile world around us.Simple everyday things..the people I love,the people I don't..the things I do..and sadly,the things I should have done.It's all there somewhere,lurking inside the safety of the music".
