As a young man, Bill played with some of the finest musicianâs in the Southeastern Mass area, including a member of the Joe Perry Project (the drummer before he played for the project), WASP (the drummer in a cover-band prior to WASP) and other professionals too numerous to mention. A child of 60's and 70's rock he styled his own writings upon artists of this period. Completely horrified by the shallow âme generationâ Bill stopped performing but continued writing with friends and on his own. Originally a bass player specializing in pop and orchestral rock, Bill soon learned to play guitar and now uses the guitar as his main instrument of composition. However, bass still plays aa large part in the scheme of his sound. Bill's lyrics reflect a yearning to fill a vacuum, as he see's it, created over time by those wishing to further there own selfish interests by lowering standards and values and then influencing others to accept these changes as inevitable. However, Bill is still out there waging the war, sleeping in the trenches and honoring the cause for all noble musicians who passed before him. Bill has an extensive catalogue of sounds to draw from covering his writings from the 70âs to present day. Past compositions were written with his long time partner Jim Johnson, a feelow musician and troubadour of heart and mind. This collection (Blessed Imperfections) covers Bill's solo work from 2006-2007 with the exception of Gypsy train (ballad) written in 1994 and Gypsy Train (Blues) which was rearranged in 2007.
