"Cory Wayne" Dunagan was born in Purcell, Oklahoma, and shortly taken home to Newcastle, Oklahoma. He accepted Jesus as his savior at the young age of six years old, and was baptized at seven. Despite the faith, and Christ filled home he was brought up in, he quickly strayed down some different paths. At the age of 11 started smoking, at twelve started drinking, and at 15 started using illegal substances. At the age of 19 asked his girlfriend Jessica Ann Bedell to marry him. Shortly after that, Jessica and Cory received the news that Jessica was pregnant. They moved there wedding date a year forward, and got married, in June of 2004. Cory went to boot camp for the Navy in July of 2004. He was on the USS Abraham Lincoln CVN 72 in the Indian Ocean when his son was born. He returned home, after the Tsunami aid was no longer needed from the Lincoln and it's crew. Returning home to find a 2 month old baby, he decided to start living for God. After a 2 year struggle with marriage, and his relationship with Jesus Christ, things finally began to change. Due to marital issues, upon request, he was honorably discharged from the Navy, and returned to Oklahoma City. Cory and his wife began attending lifechurch.tv, South OKC campus, and greatly improved there relationship with God, as well as with one another. Around this same time, he began writing new songs, for a new life, through the inspiration, of Jesus Christ.
