Primarily known for her fiery fiddling, Austin, TX's Darcie Deaville is an accomplished musician, writer, and performer.

She sings her own songs in concert, and is a sideperson to a wide range of acts from Tom Paxton to Ani di Franco both on stage or in recording sessions. She has recorded four of her own CD's, with access on the web to buy one song or the whole lot. Darcie has just finished her first book, called "Twinkle Twinkle Fiddle Star, to be published this year.

Darcie's theatre work includes the debut of her one woman musical "Tornado In Slo Mo", Sam Shepard's "Back Bog Beast Bait" (his very first play), "Cottonpatch Gospel", "Always, Patsy Cline", "Oil City Symphony", and "Woody Guthrie's American Song".

A Toronto native, Darcie has led a gypsy-like life, living all over North America. And her guitar playing can fly through the fields of bluegrass and grease the blues in a way that makes it boil and smoke.
