Darrell is a songwriter and a sound engineer. He always felt that he was born to make music. Growing up listening to all types of music, he would make up songs in his head. He was involved in marching bands, Drum & Bugle Corps, Jazz bands and Rock bands. Darrell wanted to make music come alive, but he never thought about making music and writing for the Lord until one day in church he heard someone play a song that she wrote. It just clicked, âIâm supposed to do that â that is what the Lord wants me to do.â So in January 2002, he bought a digital recorder and he now writes for the Lord, and helps others record their songs. One of his projects was a Contemporary Christian CD âOriginal Celebrationâ which was completed in December 2002.

At Darrellâs home church he is writing and performing songs that his Lord has put on his heart, songs to heal broken hearts and reach out to touch others. He hopes the songs will reach those hearts that are cold or cracked from non-use, find lost souls, and let them know they are worthy of Godâs faithful loveâ¦

Darrell believes God has called him to write music, to sing (with a joyful noise), to laugh at his mistakes, to love his wife, to be a father to his two beautiful girls, to hold Godâs children when they cry. Darrellâs music has always been a part of his soul. He strongly believes God made him to take music from his heart and to share his gifts with Godâs children. Darrell loves the Lord, with all his heart and soul, and wants to freely worship our God, to touch the garment of Jesus Christ, to face our God and to hear God say, âWell done.â
