WOR - Weapons of Righteousness was formed in 1998 under the direction of Derrick L. Brown. Derrick is a member of the Stellar Award/Grammy Nominee Donald Lawrence and the Tri-City Singers. He has recorded numerous CD's and have shared the stage with a plethora of recording artist - too many to be named.
WOR is comprised of 12 diverse singers with a 4 piece musical band. The majority of their repertoire consist of original compositions written by Mr. Brown and some group members. WOR can be heard on background on various recording projects throughout the city such as - CJ Butler "I've Learned" and The Sam Jenkins Project. The main purpose of the ministry is to usher the people into the presence of the Lord. God is our focus and our passion.
