Details:
In February of 2007, right around Super Bowl time, Iâm walking from my music room to my living room and this song starts to write itself through me. I didnât plan on writing a song â never gave it a previous thought â it just appeared. When that happens I just go with the flow. I also feel that the universe is ready to say something special. And I feel blessed to have it told through me. Thatâs how it was with âI Love My Green Bay Packers!â and thatâs how it is with the "Brett Favre Boogie!â

It feels like Brett has been with us for a lifetime, and his story, in a grand and public way, has mirrored many of our own life experiences. Weâve lived with the ups and downs, the triumphs and tragedies, the hopes and dreams, the heartaches and victories, and in some way Brettâs public story has made it easier to place our own challenges in perspective. You might say Brettâs story is the universal life story lived out on the grand stage.

This song is a tribute to Brett. Number 4. Mr. Pack. Itâs my affirmative thought that before itâs all over with Brett has as many lifetime football QB records as possible. Put âem way out there so no one else can touch âem. Itâs gotta happen in Green Bay. Look, weâve had Curly, Vince, Bart, Reggie and we still have Brett. We won the first two Super Bowls. We have the greatest tradition in professional sports. All this coming from a team located in the smallest city to ever be home for a major professional sports franchise. Maybe itâs like the little guys against the big guys. David against Goliath. Maybe the sports gods are telling the so called big guys âyou may have large populations and fancy cities and glamorous lifestyles but keep it humble cause this little city franchise has more records and a richer tradition than youâ.

Grab all the gusto you can Brett. Weâre pullinâ for you. And weâll be dancing the âBrett Favre Boogie!â for many years to come!

Also on this CD are two songs I wrote as theme songs for Green Bay Packer and Wisconsin Badger fan movies respectively. The titles: "We Are Packer Fans!" from the Packer fan movie "Our Pack" and "Wisconsin Proud" from the Badger fan movie "W2K The Movie".

Also... another Green Bay Packer fan song I wrote in 2003... "Packer Country USA!" This song poses the question - "Where is Packer Country?". Answer: "My friend, Packer country is everywhere!"

Last, but not least, I'm re-releasing the mix that started it all for me and Green Bay Packer songs. The original mix that was first broadcast on WITI TV6, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA in late September of 1993... "I Love My Green Bay Packers!". The pure mix is here. I call it the Eddy J Archive Mix, and the Eddy J and the Packer Polka Ramas mix is here. I call it the Archive Mix. I retired these mixes in April of 1996 and this is the first release of these tracks since then.

Visit my web site www.EddyJ.com for additional information and the complete stories about these songs.
