Affecting a graceful introduction is, perhaps, not the primary concern of backwoods born Ronald Eric Granger, the now twenty-something son of a preacher man, whose nom de plume- Eric Vain- sums up his agenda as a blossoming musical satirist in three conveniently pun-worthy and cynical syllables. Befitting then, that the man who takes his own name in _ _ _ _ should audaciously release his first public debut, In Best of War & Love 2004-2007, as something of a greatest hits compilation. Is the joke on him, or is it on us? All handles (obviously) point to Vain.

War & Love smarts of a clever scoff to chin of Vainâs generation that goes beyond the musical, the lyrical. Blaspheming his way through genre, image, religion and the concept of the self, Vain exposes the core of his life and times as a sick joke worth the living. own disgusting habit.

As a solo artist, Eric Vain has been writing and recording his own music in the woodsy ambience of his rural home since 1999. Over the past several years he has produced numerous LPs & EPs featuring selected singles, B-sides, and demos independently. In addition to writing, recording, and producing his own material, Vain is also responsible for his own cover art, design, & creation through in & out.

In this project he is responsible for writing and recording each track with basic musical elements such as pianos, tambourines, beats, drums/drum kits, electronic keyboards, pianos, organs, guitars, and a microphone. Not to mention all vocals including back vocals are his own. With a plus of wonderful lyrics, listen closely.
