Jenny Gunn grew up with a recording studio below her bedroom and was infused with music from the start.
As a little girl she was given a guitar by her dad and told if she could learn to play three cords she could keep the guitar. Try as she might she could not wrap her little fingers around the wide neck of that beautiful sounding guitar and she gave up (for a while).
That same guitar was given lots of adventures including spending one night in the hands of Lenny Breau.
When Jenny got older she decided she was ready to try again and spent many many nights working out the songs on this cd. She has no offical music training and can't even read music but boy can she write it. She wrote all her songs by moving her fingers around on the strings and when the cord sounded right she would write out where her fingers were and look up the cord later, therby writing amazing songs by sound and feeling without the interference of the so called "rules" of music. Jenny recorded this cd in a completely off the grid solarpowered "earthship" home and studio in Killaoe Ontario. It's called Asoma Records and it the home and office of the extremely talented producer Errol Francais (AKA Errol Star rememeber that Juno award winner from the 80's?) Enjoy it we know you will.
