Keith S. Brannonâs music brings an urban flair to the urgent message that lost souls need to hear. His music is born out of his lifeâs experiences and touches peopleâs hurting hearts because heâs in touch with the masses that are desperate to know the Healer in this life.

One of Washington, DCâs own sons, he was born to the late Mr. Samuel Brannon and Mrs. Etta M. C. Hall. He was educated on DCâs âsouth sideâ graduating from Anacostia Senior High School. It was during these formative years, that he gained his street smarts and saw first hand what drugs, fast living and desperation can do.

He also got a taste of Church life as a youngster. Having grown up in the Springfield Baptist Church in North West Washington, DC where his family was very active, it was here that Keith got his first opportunities to display his talents as drummer, bassist and pianist. He was formerly trained in piano at the Sewell Music Conservatory because his mother insisted that he stick with it. Stick with it he did! At Anacostia, he worked under the direct tutelage of Dr. Wesley A. Boyd. It was in this time that he gained exposure to vocal technique and true musicianship and cultivated a relationship with members of The Total Experience, like Mr. William Hubbert, Gary, Rosalind, Steven, Dale, Angela, Eric Valintine, Lawann, and many others.

In addition to his formal training, Keith gained hands-on experience by working with Church choirs and music groups throughout the DC metropolitan area and for a time the Charlotte, North Carolina metropolitan area. His skill on piano, organ and bass guitar have set him apart and made him a sought after musician in his own right. In addition to church groups, he has served as Musical Director for James Hillian and the Hillian Ensemble and co-produced the musical project Songs Inspired By God. He also served as Musical Director for the musical, "Lord, Iâm Coming Home" among other productions and tours.

In addition to these experiences, Keith has worked with, open for or played for some of Gospel Musicâs powerhouses like Richard Smallwood, Minister Michael Reid and Ramon Reeder, the Georgia Mass Choir, the late Reverend Donald Vails, Tremaine Hawkins, the National Baptist Convention Choir and the Progressive National Baptist Convention Choir. He has opened for Vickie Winans and Reverend Marvin Sapp.

Brannon is also a gifted musical teacher, songwriter and workshop facilitator. He has facilitated vocal and instrumental music workshops around the country. These workshops focus on vocal techniques, choir decorum, development of effective praise and worship ministries and development of basic musicianship for Worship services. Choirs have sung his songs across the country

Keith Brannon is a multi-talented, multi-faceted artist who got his start right on the streets of Washington, DC. His music touches you at your core and directs you to The Holy One. His desire is to reach, teach, motivate and cultivate Godâs people. Through his music and his ministry, heâs determined to take Godâs Word to the uttermost parts of the world.

He started the Fellowship of Praise after working with his 70 voice choir the United Voices of Praise, he decided that working with a smaller group would be closer to what he had become accustomed to, being able to teach unique harmonies while never compromising the sound. He has many songs that he would love to share with the world, " I am releasing this as just an appetizer or precursor for what is to come keep your ear to the ground I am excited about this and I hope you will be as well."
