LouderThanLove is a rock power trio hailing from Omaha, NE. The group was formed in August 2005, and is comprised of three rock veterans of the Omaha music scene.

Singer and Guitarist Shawn Hicks was born in Marietta, GA in 1966, and was heavily influenced by music of the Beatles, early Fleetwood Mac, and others such as Cat Stevens, Led Zeppelin, and Humble Pie. He has been perfecting his craft since he was very young, having been a choral singer for many of his early years, as well as dabbling in Piano and Trumpet. He took up the guitar at the age of 15, and set out to be a reflection of those artists who were most influental to him. Honing his gritty, but honest vocal style has provided a very blues-rock dimension to the bands music.

Jeff Bliven holds the thundering power of the Bass Guitar in the band, having been born in Omaha, NE in the early 1960's. Jeff originally picked up a pair of drumsticks as his first instrument, but switched to bass when he realized how much of an edge it injected into his rhythmic abilities. He has been mastering the bass for well over two decades.

Keith Bliven is the essential timekeeper of the band, and was born also in Omaha, NE in about 1970, so he is the youngster of the group. Keith has been playing his loud, rhythmic style of drumming for three decades..stretching from school band at an early age, up unto a number of rock projects in the Omaha area. Solid and precise, he holds the glue of the music together tightly.

Powerful live performances have grown their fan base, and extended the bands reach in the midwest region, and has helped spread the word about their music. Getting plays on local music radio programs has exposed them to a whole new audience, and they continue to gain attention locally and globally, connecting with fans everywhere through the internet.
