Mahajibee Blues is a Pittsburgh-based band that is comfortable and entertaining in any setting. We have opened for an assortment of premier oldies, rock and blues bands at a variety of venues. Many Tri-State Festivals, Downtown Summertime Concert Series, Community Parks and Benefits have invited Mahajibee to perform repeatedly. Two performances are on CD and the "Blues and Rhythm Show" hosted by Bumble Bee Slim, also the âBig Town Blues Showâ, hosted by Wrett Weatherspoon, occasionally air songs on WYEP/ 91.3 FM Saturday nights.

We opened the 12th Annual Pittsburgh Blues Festival on Friday, July 21st., 2006 and were guests of the Super Bowl Champion Pittsburgh Steelers on August 31, 2006 at Heinz Field. The 60-minute set at the PBF set the tone for what is being recognized as the best Pittsburgh Blues Festival ever.

We began 2007 by volunteering to play a a fund-raising benefit for local drummer, Fred Sykes. From there we were one of 18 bands selected to participate in the 15th Annual River City Ohio Blues Competition, Marietta, Ohio. Our outdoor Summer Concert appearances continues to expand with the addition of Allegheny County Courthouse Concert Series, Downtown, Pittsburgh and The Stars at Riverview Jazz Series hosted by CitiParks of Pittsburgh. We're invited back to perform at The STAR 100.7 Summer Concert Series, Market Square, Downtown, Pittsburgh, The Avonworth Community Park Summertime Concert Series, and The North Side Summer Celebration all for the fourth time. The Southside Works Summer Entertainment Series, Pittsburgh,PA has us booked three times for the Summer of 2007.

We will perform at nine festivals this summer including The Westmoreland Arts and Heritage Festival, Twin Lakes Park, Greensburg, PA, The Washington Arts & Heritage Festival, The 6th Annual McKeesport BBQ Cook Off, The North Side Summer Celebration, Fort Ligonier Days and four Blues Festival's, The 4th Annual Spot Bar Blues Festival, Steubenville, Ohio, Carnegie Festival's "Blues on Main Street", The Endless Mountain Blues Fest, Scranton, PA. and the prestigeous Heritage Music Festival, Wheeling, WV.

Our first original studio CD entitled "Mahajibee" was released in August of 2007.
