Details:
"Sweet Spot" is my 3rd (and best) CD. It contains 3 songs that have been sitting around, unfinished for many years. One song ("Rumble Strip") even dates all the way back to my college years in the 70's. One song, "The Eagle's Wing" is an older song that I never really had a good recording of. The rest of the songs are new.

"The Eagle's Wing" is like a Neil Young song. When I recorded it, I went back to Harvest & listened to what made songs like "Heart of Gold" work, e.g., bass guitar/bass drum in rhythmic sink, warm acoustic guitar & harmonica, airy slide in the background, nice reverb. So, that's exactly how I produced this song.

This project really started 3 years ago when I built a computer, or Digital Audio Workstation (DAW), for the sole purpose of doing digital recording. It took me over a year to get the new digital process under my belt, and then another year and a half to write and record the CD.

Hope you like it!!!

Some earlier reviews:

- Noel Paul Stookey (Peter, Paul & Mary) said: "Just got through listening to the album [Can of Worms]! congrats...nice collection. especially liked the Mary's Waltz at the end and Cast Iron at the beginning. thought the poem to Garcia was nice too."

- Bennie Green, of FACE magazine, said:"...there are a number of good songs here...Cressey's talent lies more in his songwriting and execution...he's assembled a good group to present his stuff...".
