While drawing musical inspiration from such rock mainstays as Everclear and Jimmy Eat World, Creswell mixes guitar-driven rock with techno influences and energetic keyboard sounds to create a sonic blast of hooks and melody. Within only 3 months of the release of their debut album "State Your Name" Creswell began delivering their energetic stage show to crowds of over 200 and they began to watch as their debut single "Blooming" was added to regular rotation on the radio in 64 cities nationwide. Local and regional press began to notice and venues consistently rave about the experience of booking a Creswell event.
Behind the music is the reality of the Creswell experience---it's not about them. "It's great to play shows and have the kids go home excited, but we're hoping to connect on a deeper level. Christianity isn't a rock star religion.it's about relationship." The mission of Creswell is to encourage believers in the struggles and triumphs of the Christian experience and to provide an avenue for non-believers to come in contact with the truth. "A lot of our songs are about the joy of Christ. a lot of them are about the struggles and frustrations that we have. We put our personal experiences out there so that people can see that they are not the only ones dealing with them. We want kids to see that Christianity is more than a good feeling. It's about the reality of a day to day relationship."
