Details:
New York City rock band Murder Mystery is taking over the universe and beyond with infinitely catchy songs, a rumpshaking live show and a "rock or die" attitude. Their upcoming debut album, "Are You Ready for the Heartache Cause Here it Comes" is a showcase of their unique talents: infectious melodies and harmonies, elaborate Television-esque guitar arrangements, poppy basslines that hearken back to Motown and McCartney, and strong rock n' roll beats that lure audience to the dance floor. The record was co-produced by J.P. Bowersock (Ryan Adams, The Strokes) and Murder Mystery, and engineered by Mark Dann (Ray Charles, The Dalai Lama.)

Murder Mystery began back when a young Jeremy Coleman (vocals, guitar) played a few songs he had written to his old pal Adam Fels (bass, vocals). Meanwhile, Jeremy's sister Laura (Drums, Vocals) also wanted in. A renowned tap-dancer, she realized that on drums she could tap dance with all four limbs. They started jamming and sparks flew. But after literally minutes of practice, the budding trio decided to expand their sound, informing their guitarist buddy Kevin Jaszek (guitar, vocals) that he was in the band, like it or not. The current lineup of Murder Mystery has worked hard to spread their gospel throughout the music scene, sharing the stage with such stellar acts as The Wrens, Fields, The Grassroots, Sondre Lerche and Apostle of Hustle (of Broken Social Scene).

As a foursome of old friends and family, Murder Mystery's personal connection and unified musical vision are obvious to anyone who has seen their live act or heard their music. If you haven't done either, please do so now. If you have, stay tuned for lots more recording and a nationwide tour!
