Music to the stars, galaxies, planets and more

Join Major Tom and the Pecos Planetary Orchestra as they create new musical journeys to the farthest outreaches of time, space and the unknown. The melodic big bang occurred in 1962 with Joe Meek's TELSTAR recorded by the British group "The Tornados" and space music has grown exponentially since then. The Major and Orchestra pay tribute to all who have gone before. The ensemble has launched songs in the galactic bent with their performance of the Major's own original compositions. From Kubrick's 2001 Strauss delights to John Williams' Star Wars symphonic saga, from Dr. Who to David Bowie and all today who have written themes and songs about the vastness of the universe and all it holds, Major Tom salutes your grand ambitions from such a tiny blue planet and only hopes that he can contribute in the same manner.

A Word from Major Tom

"Earth is our domain for existence. Since the Big Bang 13.7 billion years ago we have evolved from out of the original cosmic material to become the unique form of being and consciousness we are now â our own local version of life among the other cosmic creations. Is our world 5 billion years old? If so, doesn't it stand to reason that other worlds might have been created earlier, and sustained life longer, so that life elsewhere has evolved beyond or differently from us to advanced levels? The Pecos Planetary Orchestra and I have created Modern Space Music to the stars with this in mind. Beyond Pluto lies the Matter in Darkness which might have spread life though Exogenesis Phase 9. The Romans took inspiration from a planet to celebrate Winter Solstice with Saturnalia; and, still today, the same Comets Infinitely Go and Come, perhaps taking advantage of an unknown Short Cut Warp. What would happen if a Weathered Space Rock of giant magnitude was Captured by the Sun? Would it create a Ring Around the Star or could Multiversal Mother Time intercede? Is Fractal Fusion a constant in each Universe of Universes? Perhaps a Planet Search in Sector 33 will yield the neighbors we have been wondering about since the first humans looked up to the sky and knew that there had to be more to the universe than they experienced in their own daily existence. A short Inner Galactic Sprint could answer his questions. As you listen to these original compositions ponder what might be and start searching out what we know at some of our links for further discoveries. Music is Universal and the Universe is our future".
