One Life At A Time is the first compilation release from indie-alternative label Pass Out Records. The new album presents a multi-genre collection of all original songs from Hawaiiâs underground rock scene such as veteran bands Missing Dave, Pimpbot and Black Square to up-and-coming acts such singer-songwriter Shawn Davenport and rock band Busekrus.

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the CD will directly benefit Perudonations.org, a Kaneohe-based charity raising funds to help two Peruvian boys receive medical care. âI was approached by Lisa Sturm, founder of Perudonations.org, after a benefit show she organized featuring a majority of the bands on the CD,â says album producer Eric Lagrimas. âI thought it would be a great idea to compile the bandâs music on a CD and sell them at the charityâs functions and through the bandâs own websites,â continues Lagrimas.

10 tracks will guide listeners on a trip to Honoluluâs underground rock scene ranging from ska, somber acoustic guitar melodies, northern soul shaking, modern rock angst, without skipping a beat in between.
