Originally from the Phillipines, Rodell moved here in 1988, in hopes of persuing the American Dream.
Rodell has always been a music lover, having grown up with strong music influences around him. A self-taught musician, Rodell's talent is absolutely outstanding.
He self supported himself through college by playing small gigs. After college he met his wife, and they moved to Miami for a year, then finally settled in Freso, California, where Rodell started writing.
Much of his inspiration for the lyrics come from the life stories of the trauma victims that he deals with on a daily basis in his nursing profession.
Rodell's style is contemporary, light rock, easy listening, and even country.
