Steven Messenger is making his debut as a contemporary crossover jazz artist - with an edge. He is a multi-instrumentalist and has a knack for producing uncomplicated yet interesting and innovative soundscapes for the ears and mind.

Steven began his career as a musician in the early 70âs touring with some of the rock and soul classics of the time. He is a multi-talented songwriter, composer and musician who plays guitar, bass, keyboards, drums and the EWI (Electronic Wind Instrument). Steven spends most of his time in his studio experimenting with sounds and recording songs that he feels his fans will enjoy as much as he does. His diverse influences include Booker T & the MGâs, John Klemmer, Buddy Rich, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, George Benson, Herb Ellis, BB King, James Taylor, Loggins & Messina.

Steven and his dog Brit make quite a singing duo if you like fingernails dragging across a chalkboard so he is sticking to the instrumental arrangements for now.

Projects planned for the future include a 3D video animatronic interpretation of one of Stevenâs songs to create a unique and exciting sensory entertainment experience for his fans.
