Formed in the year 2000 under the moniker HyJinX, the seven-man unit known as Stealing Jane has managed to turn the fickle independent music scene on its ear with a genre-defying brand of rock, pop and r&b.

With a consistently strong live performance as top priorty, Stealing Jane's tireless tour schedule sees them visiting high profile venues as Giants Stadium (NJ), Lupos (RI), Crocodile Rock (PA), The Stone Pony (NJ), Higher Ground (VT), Petrus Night Club (KY), The Bitter End (NYC), BB Kings (NYC), The Crazy Donkey (NY) and many more.

In their travels, the band has shared stage with other well-known acts such as Hanson, Spin Doctors, Tower Of Power, RX Bandits, George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic, Toots & the Maytals, Zox, Catch 22, Badfish, Keaton Simons, Curtis Peoples, Tony Lucca,Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Crash Romeo, Bob Marley's legendary Wailers, and The Killing Moon, just to name a few. No matter the show, though, fans are never in the dark as to when Stealing Jane is coming to their town. Their loyal street team, boasting members from across the States and beyond, remains hard at work flooding the internet and local attractions with promo materials.

The past few years have seen Stealing Jane collaborate with such high-profile New York publications as Good Times (who awarded them first place in the Long Island Music Festival) and the Inside Connection. The band has also received radio play in over 15 states â most notably an on-air interview with XM radio's Opie and Anthony during which their single "Heartbreaker" was played and reviewed. The song received much positive response from the often harshly critical audience of the show.
