Description:
Driving and inspirational soundtrack to life
14 MP3 Songs
ELECTRONIC: Ambient, NEW AGE: New Age
Details:
Since 1995, STERLING has been producing some of the most innovative music
within the electronic genre. Through a seamless integration of trance,
ambience, and breakbeats; he has created a progressive style that is uniquely
his own. A style that is represented by intensely emotive work dealing with
themes such as loneliness, faith, and transcendence. In STERLING's mind, it
goes beyond music. He is struggling to create the soundtrack to a new reality,
teeming with so much hope and possibility.
With the debut release of the self-titled "STERLING" (1997), he was finally
able to begin sharing his vision with others. Though only 18 when much of it
was completed, it became evident that he contained a great deal of maturity
within his music. Songs such as "TRANSCENDENTAL" and "ALONE" exhibit such
depth and perception, it is hard to imagine them being the product of a
teenage mind. But they were and STERLING had arrived.
Four years later, STERLING's second release "BRAVE NEW WORLD" (2001) came upon
us. It was born out of STERLING's deep concern for the current state of the
world. It essence, it is a concept album envisioning the destruction and
rebirth of Earth. Obviously, there is more at play here than simply dance
music.
2002 marked the launch of STERLING's own production company, TRANSAMBIENT
PRODUCTIONS. This company mainly serves as an independant record label for the
artist himself, though it may include others in the future.
In 2004, STERLING returned once with a new project entitled "LUCID
DRIVE". This time around, he attempted a collaborative effort with fellow
producer Rick Santacroce and lyricist/vocalist Kellie Lobaugh. This project
was well received and has even caught the attention of Resident Euphoria-Live
DJ Darren James in the UK. Referring to STERLING/LUCID DRIVE music as "left of
field ambient breaks with trance overtones blended into a lush and deep
soundscape of emotion and pulse", Darren remixed 5 songs from the project.
Though the project was successful, STERLING ultimately decided to go back
to creating alone.
So here we are now. STERLING is busy working on his next album, which
promises to be his strongest effort to date. His passion and abilities
continue to intensify in all directions. He will rise again...
