SHORT BIO:
Soon after Cryin Blue Wine earned a rabid local following and massive local radio airplay with their self produced 1999 EP "Pieces" in their hometown of Pueblo, Colorado Jason Merritt (singer, songwriter, guitarist) headed West to team-up with long-time friend and guitarist Sam Solis.

Upon Jason's arrival in San Diego they enlisted the Zepplinesque drumming of Mike Waterman and with the help of Producer/Engineer Darrel Harvey (Blink-182, Unwritten Law) put out their diversely soul-rocking 11-song debut CD "Mad Married Circle".

With vocals akin to Live and STP their powerfully anthemic, overtly spiritual music driven by a foundation of hard-hitting melodic rhythms set the stage for a full-on assault of the SoCal music scene.
