Vern Michaels has been making waves around Saskatchewan and western Canada since forming his own brand of Country/Rock band in 2002. Since then they have seen many highlights over many miles including regular appearances at top clubs and casinos, many headline appearances at special events and cabarets, and a great memory of opening for Canadian legends "Trooper" at the Brier-fest in Regina Sk. in 2006 to an enthusiastic crowd of several thousand!

Their live show is a varied mixture of both country and rock covers, classic and new, mixed with samples from the new disc, all delivered with an energy and enthusiasm that rubs off on all those at the event! Vernâs ability to sing convincingly in so many styles consistently yields high acclaim everywhere! Not bad for a guy who spent so much of his previous years in the business as a lead guitar player and backing vocalist! Being raised in Amherstview Ontario on a musical diet from Waylon Jennings to Alice Cooper gave Vern a real appreciation of music without genres so there is no lack of sincerity in the delivery of anything he touches.

Always with Vern are a collection of the finest players in Saskatchewan. Though at times you can still catch the show in a three piece format (a throwback to his early George Thorogood influence) 2007 has seen the addition of a keyboard player into the fold and an E.P. release of 5 original songs. Vern and the band continue to be a feature at all the top clubs, casinos, and special events everywhere!!
