Vincent is a multiple award-winning composer and performer of interactive and curriculum-based, original music for children. Self-taught on a variety of instruments, he is the son of a special education teacher and a professional musician. Vincent has recorded five CDs, Working Together (2005), Just One Step (2001), Brand New Day (1997), Read to Me (1994) and Vincent and the Big Bad Kitchen Band (1991).

Vincent regularly performs at schools, museums, libraries and child-care facilities, and has given keynote and featured workshops at numerous regional affiliates of the National Association for the Education of Young Children and at the annual NAEYC conference.
