BLUES CLASSICS is the second full-length release by Modern Blues Harmonica and the first featuring the work of harmonica player Adam Gussow and guitarist Charlie Hilbert. Gussow is best known for his work with the duo Satan and Adam; this release showcases him in a somewhat more traditional, but equally high-energy context.

This is real New York City blues, recorded live and in the studio between 1989 and 2007.

14 songs, 60 minutes, 70 MB.

Also included are two bonus tracks: Gussow playing an instrumental, "Adam's Groove," with Irving Louis Lattin and Chicago Fire; and Gussow backing up singer Grace Brimage and guitarist Wild Jimmy Spruill in an unreleased demo of "You Don't Have to Go."

The complete liner notes are included with the instant download, ready to be trimmed and fit into your CD jewel case.

Tracks 1, 3, 7: Adam Gussow (hca), Charlie Hilbert (gtr, vcls). Recorded in Adams uptown Manhattan apartment in 1999.
Tracks 2, 5, 9, 10, 12: Adam Gussow (hca, vcls), Charlie Hilbert (gtr, vcls). Recorded in The Press Room (Portsmouth, NH) on June 9, 2007.
