"Ghosts" is a theme album of songs I have written over the last twenty or so years, as well as one written by my best friend and main vocalist, Clark Sitton. It is meant to be an introspective collection of songs, based around poetry, and couched in rich, melodic rock music.

The inspiration for this project came years ago, in medical school. While in Houston, I had this vision that every significant event or relationship left a ghost in different places in the city. They were then banding together to drive me away, on to a new place (Chicago, as it happened). I waited years and years until I could afford to have this album properly produced and professionally mastered.

My favorite band of all time is Toad the Wet Sprocket, and, in my opinion, "Dulcinea" is the best written and produced album of all time. My producer inspirations are Gavin MacKillop (Toad's producer), and "Mutt" Lange. I, of course, love tons of other music, almost any genre (even some hip hop), and have the utmost respect for professional musicians and artists of any level of commercial success, both starving and filthy rich.
