In keeping with tradition of Darpan Patel's first album (1 Soul), 'The True Knowledge Project' album was initially conceived as the underlying part of something bigger. It was used as a collaborative name for all who contributed towards the 'Voices Against Poverty' music & video; produced in the hope that the general level of awareness on poverty vs. progress would be strengthened and the momentum towards progress made greater.
As nature took it's course, so did the album's spirit and hence, the 12 tracks which ensued. Again, in an attempt to unify the progressive, the world and the soul, Darpan Patel has crafted an ever-evolving ecclectic mix of external art and internal science; music and philosophy. At the same time, he has maintained the universal vision of Oneness through the use of instrumentation as well as lyrics to reflect something to which he aspired towards, the truth.
